Some Tidbits About Me

Where it all began.....

My life began on July 5th, 1977 after my mother walked up and down flights of stairs at the Bertha Brock Park in Ionia, MI. It's all been great from there! I went to Fulton Schools for the majority of my school years, with graduating from Kingsley High School (near Traverse City, MI) with high honors. Soon after, I started a family of my own back where I grew up. We (Jason "my childhood sweatheart" & I) were out on our own in 1995, with a new house and a newborn baby, Kaylah. We took the "plunge" in 1997, accompanied by many friends and family. In 2000, we added to our family with the arrival of Logan.

I have worked the majority of my working years in retail for Fashion Bug, Charming Shoppes, Inc (both in high school as a sales associate and after my first pregnancy at the St. Johns store as a retail manager). From there, I worked as a manager for a small restaraunt & lounge owned by family. Before deciding to go back to college and stay at home with my children, I also was an office manager/receptionist/bookkeeper (you name it, I was in charge of it) for a small concrete construction business.

Other than how I ended up where I am at now in my life, I have had a lot of fun getting there. My other hobbies and interests that I enjoy are fishing, riding our motorcycle on day/weekend trips, storm chasing, fussing over my flower gardens and remodeling my house. I swear I paint my interior walls more than anyone I know! The picture to the right is just one room that I have painted in my house...

A Never Ending Job!

Blood, sweat and tears!

My full-time job is being a wife, mother, and housekeeper. I love being at home to take care of housework, to be home when my girls come home from school, and to tend to everyone's needs. The only con is the work never ends! With each day, something new needs to be done, errands change day to day, and not to forget, loads and loads of laundry!!!
